Schedulers and Supers can assign Installers or Crew-Leads responsible for completing tasks in TradeTrax. Once assigned, Installers can Check-In and Check-Out of tasks using the TradeTrax mobile app.
To assign an Installer or Crew-Lead:
For Mobile App Users:
1. Open the TradeTrax mobile app.
2. Scroll to locate the task needing assignment. Tap the task to open Task Details.
3. Tap Needs Assignment.
4. Select an Installer or Crew-Lead from the dropdown list.
5. The selected name will appear as Assigned to on the Task Details screen.
6. The name will also display on the task card.
For Laptop Users:
You can assign an Installer or Crew-Lead from several areas within the TradeTrax web application:

Upcoming Tasks section on the Dashboard
- Upcoming Tasks in the left-hand menu

Open Tasks list in the left-hand menu

Within the Task Details view for an individual task
Assign via Upcoming Tasks section on the Dashboard
1. Log in to TradeTrax on your laptop
2. Scroll to Upcoming Tasks and click Needs Assignment next to the task.
3. Select an Installer or Crew-Lead from the dropdown list.
Note: These are users already added to your TradeTrax account.
4. The selected Installer's name will now display on the task card.
Assign via Tasks Details View
1. Click a task name to open its Task Details view.
2. Click the Choose Installer field.
3. Select an Installer or Crew-Lead from the dropdown list.
4. All done!
Note: To reassign, click the assigned Installer's name and select a different one.
5. The assigned Installer will now appear on the task card.
