Builder: What are Start Date Confirmation Requests and how do I configure them?

Start Date Confirmation Requests are automatically sent to Trades before their task’s Expected Start Date.

This feature is a mutual handshake between Builder and Trades; if confirmed Trades agree to start their task on that date.

A Trade can Confirm or Reschedule the start date when they respond to the Start Date Confirmation Request.

Why are Start Date Confirmation Request Confirmations useful?

Start Date Confirmation Requests hold Trades accountable about when they will start their task.

When a Start Date Confirmation Request is confirmed by a Trade, a green checkmark will appear next to their expected start in the Open Tasks and Upcoming Tasks lists.

If a green checkmark is displayed next to a task, you can expect that task to begin on the scheduled date.
