      Builder: What are Templates and how do I create one?

      Templates contain all stages and Tasks for your Jobs. As the Builder, you can create multiple Templates based on your Communities and the plans for each Job. 

      Your Templates will become the Job Schedule once the Job is released to construction and marked "In Progress." 

      Only Builder users have access to view, edit, deactivate, and rename Templates.

      How do Templates work within TradeTrax?

      Templates are used to create new Jobs with all of your specific tasks.

      You can add as many tasks depending on the size of your Job.

      When you create a new Job in TradeTrax, you will select one of your Templates to form a Job Schedule for Trades.

      How to Create a New Template

      Creating a new Template is currently only available in the desktop application.

      1. Click on the Templates option in the desktop menu.

      2. Click "Create Template."

      3. Enter a name for the new Template in the pop-up window and add additional information such as Target Cycle Time.

      4. Click on "Create Template." 

      5. A confirmation message will appear once you have successfully created a Template.

      6. You will be redirected to your new Template details view.
