A Multi-Family task is a single task that lives in several jobs and shares the exact same information. Updating a Multi-Family task will update that task for all the jobs in the building at the same time.
- Multi-Family tasks will always have the Multi-Family symbol to the right of the task name.
- When searching jobs and tasks, Multi-Family tasks and Multi-Family jobs will be labeled as a "Multi-Family Task."
- When you click on the Multi-Family building information, a drop-down will populate showing all of the jobs associated with this task.
- Click on the task name to access the task details.
- (1) Click on the jobs link to see (2) all the jobs this task belongs to.
- To update the status of this task, click the status bar and select the new status from the drop-down.
This will update the task status for all the jobs associated with this Multi-Family building. - To update the start or finish date of the Multi-Family task, click Send Update Request.
- (1) Click the Propose Start field, (2) select the new start date from the calendar drop-down, (3) then click Send to Builder.
This will update the start date for every job associated with this Multi-Family building. - To add photos, click Attachments, and to add notes, click Notes. Photos and notes added to this task will be applied to every job associated with the Multi-Family building.
