Trade Scheduler: What is the Task's Definition of Ready (DOR)?

Every task in your TradeTrax app has a Definition of Ready that is reflected by the Custom Task Readiness Indicator. This at-a-glance tool lets you know if your task is ready for your crew or Installer to start.

***The Definition of Ready is established by the builder as the list of tasks that need to be completed by prior Trades in order for your task to get started.


  1. Click the Custom Task Readiness Indicator to open the Definition of Ready details.

  2. Each task on the Definition of Ready list will show its current status.

    If a task on the list hasn’t started yet, the expected start date will display below the status bar.

  3. If a task is In Progress, the expected finish date will display below the status bar.

  4. If all the Definition of Ready tasks are complete, the task readiness indicator will be Green and show Ready to Start.

  5. If tasks are in progress or not started, and within a day of completion, the task readiness indicator will be Grey and show Almost Ready to Start

  6. If there are tasks not yet completed or started, and further than a day out, the task readiness indicator will be Red and show Not Ready to Start.

  7. Click the Calendar Icon to switch to the calendar view.

  8. When you switch to the calendar view, the tasks on the calendar are color coded based on task readiness.
