Builder: What are Tasks Affected and how do I manage them?

Tasks Affected appears when moving the start or finish date of a task.

Whether it is an Update Request sent from a Trade or moving an Inspection to a new date, TradeTrax will highlight the tasks that may impact the overall Cycle Time of the Job.

Tasks Affected enables you to move one task instead of moving the whole Job Schedule, to help you stay on track to reach the Target Cycle Time.

Why is Managing Tasks Affected useful?

Managing Tasks Affected helps hold or move other tasks’ start dates within TradeTrax.

You have the option to Hold All Dates or Hold Specific Dates from the new date change and the following tasks.

This helps identify what tasks are going to move and see their new date with the new proposed start and Cycle Time Impact on the Job before you confirm the date.
