When a task misses it's Expected Start Date or Expected Finish Date it is listed in your Overdue Tasks on your dashboard. It is important to address these as quickly as possible.
Why is it so Important to Manage Overdue Tasks?
Keeping an eye on Overdue Task will help keep your jobs on schedule. It will also keep the downstream trades informed about movements in their Expected Start and Expected Finish Dates.

1. When you see an Overdue Task on your Dashboard, you need to address it as quickly as possible. Tap the Overdue Task Box to view the list of Overdue Tasks.
***The best practice is to reach out to the Trade Partner to prompt them to update the status of their Overdue Task (update status to In Progress or Completed), or to submit an Update Request for a new Expected Start Date or Expected Finish Date.
2. In this example, the task Install HVAC Rough has a status of Not Started, and (1) Missed the Expected Start Date of July 22. You can change the Expected Start Date for the task by tapping (2) Change Date.
***If the task is overdue because of a Missed Finish, tapping the Change Date would walk you through changing the Expected Finish Date.
3. Select the new Expected Start Date on the pop-up calendar (1), then tap the Update Expected Start button (2) at the bottom of the screen.
4. The Increase Cycle Time Field (1) will display how many days this date change will delay the finish date of the job. To confirm that you understand the effects of the date change, tap Confirm Schedule Impact (2).
***You can update the Task Status if the trade forgot to updated a task that they are working on or have completed. Tap the Task Status Bar (Not Started) and select a new status.

1. Your Overdue Task List is marked in red in the middle of your Dashboard. The Overdue Task card displays:
(1) The status of the task
(2) The reason the task is overdue.
- If a Task misses its Start Date, The task card will display Missed Start and the date highlighted in red.
- If a Task misses its Finish Date, The task card will display Missed Finish and the date highlighted in red.
(3) The trade the task belongs to
(4) Click Change Date to change the Expected Start or Finish Date.
2. Click the Expected Start Date field to select a new date.
3. Select a date from the drop-down calendar and then click Confirm Date Change.
4. Continue this process until your Overdue Tasks are eliminated.
Update the Task's Current Task Status
If you oversee the Task on the Job Site and have confirmation of the current task status, you also have the ability to update the task status yourself by clicking the task status bar and selecting the status that currently applies.
