When you start your day, you’re probably checking your schedule to see which trades are working in which houses.

The To-Dos section is the place to start in the TradeTrax app for managing your schedule. Here's how to get started:

 

When you are out on your initial walk in the morning, you're working on a few standard objectives:

  1.  Are the trade tasks scheduled to start today getting started?
  2. What are my tasks for today?
  3. What to do if a trade doesn't show up

 

As you manage your community throughout the day, here are a few scenarios you may encounter:

  1. A Trade informs you of a constructability issue that may delay the task completion
  2. A Trade informs you that they are anticipating the need for a schedule change
  3. There are some emergent unresolved issues popping up
  4. One of your inspections failed and needs to be rescheduled


As you walk your community in the afternoon, here are some actions to consider:

  1.  There are completed tasks that I need to inspect to approve payment 

  2. Are any tasks finishing early?

 

Things to consider as you wrap up your day

  1. Check tomorrow’s schedule to ensure it’s up-to-date
  2. Are there any tasks that are scheduled to finish today that wont be completed?
  3. Are there any tasks scheduled to start tomorrow that can’t start because the job isn’t ready?
