Builder CM: Apply Markers to Tasks

Markers are used in TradeTrax to flag and track issues on a task, such as an unsafe work environment, quality issues, or when a trade doesn’t show up. Markers help attribute cycle time issues to a specific task and trade.

Add a Marker to a Task in a Note

  1. Open a task and click on the Notes section at the bottom of the task record.

2.  Click in the Note Box and type in your note.

3.  To add a marker, click on the “+” symbol at the bottom left-hand corner of the note box. Select        your marker from the pop-up menu.

4.  Your Marker will show up in the note box in the upper left-hand corner. Click Add Note to save your note to the task record.

5.  The Marker will stay attached to the note in the task note history.

*** The trade cannot see markers applied to notes.

  1. Tap the Notes section of the Task record to add a note.
  2. Tap the “+” symbol to the left of the Notes field to add a marker.

  3. Select the marker from the pop-up list.
  4. (1)Tap in the Notes field and type in your note. (2) Tap the Arrow symbol to save.

  5. The note and the marker are saved in the note history.
  6. You can find the note in the Notes section of the task record.
